We Do What Is In The Best Interest Of The Dog.
Buster is a 20 pound fun bundle of joy. Although he is 3 years old, he still has lots of puppy energy. He is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly, especially if there is something yummy involved. He's a smart, social dog who does well with other dogs and does OK with cats but would like to chase and play with them if they run. He does have some separation anxiety but kennels well with only some vocalizing for a short bit sometimes. He is mostly potty trained but does not yet know how to ask to go outside, so would do well with a routine. Once settled in he does have a good recall with a firm tone. He loves to snuggle upside down, like holding a baby and is very toy and treat motivated. He will "par-core" jump off his people when he is excited.
Buster has a cardiac stent which helps his heart function to allow him to currently be on no activity restrictions. He one pill twice a day which he takes like a champ to help keep his heart from working too hard so he can fully enjoy life. Pending a follow up echo appointment due in 6-8 months, this medication may be reduced or stopped altogether. He is harness trained, but due to his heart condition, is would be preferred to walk him using a collar.
