The first step in our adoption process is for you to fill out an application. We need an application on file in order to discuss any dogs, so please submit the application prior to making any contact with us. If you do not have a specific dog in mind, give us a description of what type of dog you want. We often match applicants to new dogs as they come into the rescue, especially, the Standard Poodles who require a very special environment. Home visits are sometimes required for Standard Poodle adoptions. Also, we may have dogs who are not yet ready for adoption, but may fit your family. By submitting an application, we may be able to match you with a dog who will be ready soon. We are making lifetime decisions, so we need to take the time to help you make the best choice!

Arizona Poodle Rescue is an all volunteer group. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are in private foster homes in the Phoenix area. We offer temporary care, spay or neuter, provide medical care when needed and find new suitable homes.

Arizona Poodle Rescue is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. As a non-profit, we rely on the generosity of poodle and dog lovers in general to assist us in continuing our mission of saving Standard Poodles in need.
