We Do What Is In The Best Interest Of The Dog.
We are thrilled you want to volunteer with us. Our volunteers are the backbone of our rescue. We can't wait to introduce you to our organization and the team that makes it all happen. Please take a few minutes to read through the website. Learn our foster and adoption processes (no quizzes...we promise), and read the stories of the dogs whose lives have been changed through Arizona Poodle Rescue. When you're ready, please fill out our VOLUNTEER APPLICATION!
Volunteer at Events
Once or twice a month we have adoption events at PetSmart or other "pop-up" locations. Come sit in the middle of our puppy pen; walk a bigger dog on a leash; transport a dog to and/or from event; help set up or tear down.
Transportation
WANNA GO FOR A RIDE! Other than fostering a dog, transportation is our biggest need. Dogs need to be chauffeured to veterinary appointments, spay or neuter clinics, adotion events and to their foster homes. DO NOT STOP FOR BISCUITS!
Grooming
If you are an experienced groomer, we could use your help. If you have one or two days a month you could donate you would make a HUGE difference for some dogs.
Foster
WARNING! Fostering can have an effect on your heart and soul. Do NOT call your physician immediately if you start getting a warm and fuzzy feeling. This may or may not pass. Please go the the FOSTER tab above to learn more.
