Sabrina is a 1-year-old poodle mix with a heart as big as her smile. She’s never met a stranger she didn’t love and will happily crawl right into any available lap. Found as a pregnant stray, this young mom showed incredible tenacity and resilience living on the streets before being rescued. Now that her puppies are weaned and she’s been spayed, Sabrina is ready to start her own new chapter.
Despite her rough start, Sabrina’s joy and affection shine through. She’s confident and playful, with a touch of sass — her foster brother can confirm that this girl knows how to keep everyone in line! She does get a little scared when cars pass by on walks, likely due to her time on the streets, but she’s making progress every day.
When she first arrived in foster care, Sabrina wasn’t potty trained, but she’s proven to be a quick learner and now uses a dog door reliably. A little patience and consistency will help her continue to succeed in her new home.
Sabrina would thrive in a home with another friendly dog and a yard to play in. She also does great on the go, happy to tag along for adventures or snuggle up for downtime.
