Oscar is the perfect mix of gentle companion and playful sidekick, ready to find a home where he can settle in and shine.
This sweet boy takes a few minutes to warm up to new people, especially kids, but once he feels safe, his affectionate personality comes through. He has been calm and respectful around children ages 9 and under and does best with kind, patient introductions.
Oscar walks beautifully on a leash and would love a family who enjoys daily walks and backyard playtime. Toss a Frisbee and you’ll instantly become his favorite person. He happily brings it right back, ready for the next round like a polite little athlete-in-training.
At home, Oscar is happiest right by your side. He’s an excellent TV-watching companion and prefers being close to his people, quietly keeping you company after a day of adventures.
He appears to be housebroken, though he may have an occasional nervous or excited pee while he’s adjusting. He sleeps well in his crate when needed, even if he doesn’t choose to go in on his own yet. With a little consistency and encouragement, he’s already on the path to great progress.
Oscar’s ideal home:
• A family who enjoys walks and outdoor play
• Patient adopters who give him a moment to warm up
• Someone who wants a loyal, stay-close companion
If you’re looking for a sweet, devoted buddy who will walk beside you, play with joy, and then curl up for movie night, Oscar might just be your guy
His adoption fee is $650, which covers his neuter surgery (already completed), all core vaccines, including rabies, and a microchip with lifetime registration. If you're interested in meeting this sweet boy, please fill out an adoption application. Oscar is excited to find his forever family!
