Greta is a sweet 10-pound Poodle mix who came from a neglectful situation where she lived with many other dogs but received very little individual attention. She is approximately 3 years old and has now been spayed.
Because of her past, Greta is understandably shy and takes time to build trust with new people. However, she absolutely loves the company of other dogs and gains confidence from having canine companions around her.
Greta has made wonderful progress in foster care. She is crate trained and house trained when crated at night. One of her favorite new routines is coming into the kitchen with her tail wagging to see what’s going on—a small but meaningful sign of how much her confidence has grown. With patience, understanding, and a calm home, Greta will continue to blossom into a loving and devoted companion.
