Are you looking for a Standard Poodle?

Thank you for your interest in Arizona Poodle Rescue. During the last several years, we have focused on Standard Poodles and that will continue. With an infusion of new volunteer support, however, we have also increased intakes of small poodles and poodles mixes as well as other breeds at times. We always take our previously adopted dogs back if their human’s circumstances change and they can no longer care for the dog. Our dogs are listed on PetFinder. If you find a dog that you are interested in adopting, please complete and submit an Application. We will get back with you as soon as we are able. We do not have the resources to keep applications on file or be on the lookout for a specific dog. If you do not see a dog that interests you at first, please check back often.

Jojo's Just Joyful

Jojo was a 6 year old standard who came into the County shelter with a badly damaged eye. Arizona Poodle Rescue took him in and had to have the eye removed. He was fostered by Searcy and Eric and after one week became a permanent member of their family.

Franklin Finds a Forever Home

Hank, who is now Franklin, was a 9 month old Klein sized poodle who came to us through a breeder in Utah. She had rescued him from another breeder who was having some difficulties. Hank was adopted by the Weryzynski's of Queen Creek. They reported to us that “Franklin is beyond loved... he is everything to us. We are so thankful for him! He is such a sweet little love bug and makes our family complete. Thank you Arizona Poodle Rescue!”

Mickey Makes a New Friend

Mickey is a 5 year old, white standard poodle who was surrendered to us with other dogs because the previous owner didn’t have enough time for them. Leanne in Tucson was happy to adopt him and give him lots of attention. He also has a new poodle brother Reggie who loves him.

Arizona Poodle Rescue is an all volunteer group. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are in private foster homes in the Phoenix area. We offer temporary care, spay or neuter, provide medical care when needed and find new suitable homes.

Arizona Poodle Rescue is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. As a non-profit, we rely on the generosity of poodle and dog lovers in general to assist us in continuing our mission of saving Standard Poodles in need.
