Meet Alexander, affectionately known as Zander! This playful, high-energy puppy is just 3 months old and already full of personality. With his stunning, glistening black coat that shines in the sunlight, he’s not just a pretty face—he’ll need some love and care, including professional grooming every 4-6 weeks to keep him looking his best and to prevent matting. Zander is expected to grow to around 30 pounds, making him the perfect medium-sized companion!
This little guy is a ball of energy! He thrives on playtime and would absolutely benefit from a training program to channel his energy. Zander is quickly learning things, but trust us—he’s clever enough to sometimes outsmart his humans! While he’s getting the hang of potty training, he still needs a bit of guidance. The good news? He’s crate trained! He’s spent some time in his crate healing from a fracture, but now he’s eager to run free and enjoy life to the fullest. When he was 5 weeks old he suffered a break to the bone in his rear leg. His break was expertly repaired by a veterinary orthopedic surgeon at one of the top animal hospitals in Scottsdale. He has a clean bill of health and is expected to suffer no long term effects and shows no sign of a past injury.
Zander loves to chew on just about everything in sight and enjoys rearranging his surroundings with his playful antics. He’s all puppy and brings endless laughter with his silly behavior. His appetite is robust, and he can entertain himself with toys for hours on end. Just wait until you see him zooming around, showing off his speed and playful spirit! You can practically see the wheels turning in his head as he ponders his next move—this little guy is always thinking ahead!
Zander’s adoption fee is $850, which covers all his vaccines, including his rabies vaccination. Plus, his neuter surgery will be taken care of under his adoption fee when he’s a bit older, around 5-6 months. He would thrive in an active family that loves to take him on walks and keep his curious mind busy. Because of his jumpy nature, we recommend he goes to a home with children over the age of 12.
