Avis is a shy guy initially but when he warms up he is independent, fiesty and loves to play. We think his mother is part poodle/ dachshund mix but we are unsure of dad. 

As a young puppy, Avis will require consistent and patient training. Be prepared for typical puppy behavior like chewing and house-training, and consider enrolling in puppy obedience classes. 

*Filling out the adoption application is the first step if you're serious about adopting Avis. Be prepared for an interview(s) and potentially a home visit to ensure it's the right fit for both you and Avis. Please be sure to fill out the application in its entirety. We also love to hear about you & your family in the consideration box at the very end of the application.                                                                                                                                                                                         

*Avis's adoption fee is $500 which reflects the cost of vaccines, microchip, and neutering services included as he approaches his first birthday, and it's a good idea to ensure you're financially prepared for further veterinary needs or other expenses that come with pet ownership.
