Cherub is a sweet, affectionate, fun-loving Poodle/Brittany Spaniel mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart! He is 1 year old and about 60 pounds.
This handsome boy absolutely loves being around people and wants nothing more than to be part of the family. He’s incredibly loving, enjoys all the attention he can get, and will happily soak up endless scratches and belly rubs. He’s also a playful pup who loves a good game of fetch!
Cherub is curious, intelligent, and full of youthful energy. He enjoys exploring his surroundings and is a great listener when he’s calm and focused. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he has wonderful potential to continue learning and thriving.
One of Cherub’s best qualities is that he’s not destructive! Even when left alone in a bedroom for several hours, he hasn’t chewed, scratched, or damaged furniture or belongings. He’s also demonstrated great potty habits, consistently doing his business outside. He also knows his basic commands like sit, down, paw, leave it, and drop it.
Cherub has a gentle, sweet side, too. During an outing, he patiently stood still while a shy child approached to pet him. Because he can get excited and jump when greeting people, interactions with young children should always be supervised.

Cherub would thrive in a loving home with people who enjoy an affectionate, playful companion and can provide exercise, structure, and reassurance. He’s still young and learning to manage his excitement, and he can become anxious when separated from his people. A patient family willing to help him build confidence and independence would be ideal. Because of his puppy energy, he would do best with kids over 10.
