I've found my furever family!

ERNIE is our 18-month old survivor. He came to APR with his leg chewed through to the bone, ear and skin infections. The severity of his injury resulted in a rear leg amputation, but nothing stops this big-hearted sweetheart. Always ready for a game of tug or fetch, his favorite spot is on your lap. Ernie is so grateful for his new beginning. He has no physical limitations, loves a warm bath, is dog and child-friendly, house-trained, travels well, and uses a doggie door. He lacks a bit of confidence, with lots of puppy behaviors still remaining, so we recommend a canine companion.
