I've found my furever family!

Ivy

We're happy to tell you that Ivy has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Ivy is a 1 year old Goldendoodle who was rescued from a neglectful situation. She has become a wonderful girl who needs a young family to keep her challenged and mentally stimulated.

Her foster says:

She is a very sweet dog, energetic, likes to cuddle and tries to crawl
into your lap and lay on top of you when you are sitting down. Ivy is
more like Velcro than our Doberman. She is smart and picks up new tasks
and behaviors quickly. She learned not to jump up and instead will sit
in front of you and goes into a beg position (Bottom on the ground and
her front feet up). She is food motivated and crate trained. She is
excitable and has, expressive, intelligent looks

She does counter surf and can reach the back of the counter easily. We
would not recommend a gas stove since she has the reach and could turn
it on if she gets her front onto it. Once she focus on something, (such
as a treat, toy or other dog) she loses loses her sense of personal
space try to reach her objective, regardless of what is in between;
furniture, people or other dogs.

She gets along with all of our dogs, but I think she would do best with
medium to larger energetic dogs. In her enthusiasm, she has plowed over
our Italian Greyhound while playing.

She learned to use the dog door in 5 minutes of being in the house. She
is house broken. She will bark when she hears any noises out side.

She can be "snappy" if she is startled awake by one of the other dogs.

Ivy has shown interest in my chickens but has not charged the fence, but
I would suggest she would be not placed with small animals.

She likes to chew and play with nyla-bones and such, stuffed toys are
not recommended, as she started to chew a fuzzy blanket.

She likes to sit next you on the sofa, tried to sleep in the bed but the
Doberman as taken to sprawling and pushes her off, his space. :)

Believes her tail is the best toy ever, catches it and spins around in
wild abandon reqardless of what ever else is around her. Thinking she
would not do well in a small apartment. Ivy’s adoption fee is $750.00. She is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
