Louie and Henry are a bonded pair of standard poodles and must be adopted together.
Louie may take a little time to warm up, but once he decides you’re his person, you’ll have a sweet and devoted companion by your side. He is a gentle, affectionate boy who loves to cuddle and is happiest staying close to the people he trusts.
Louie is the more timid and observant of the two brothers. When someone new comes over, he may prefer to hang back and watch everything from a comfortable distance while he decides that he feels safe. He is especially cautious around men. He can become comfortable with them, but he does best when he has his trusted person nearby and is allowed to approach at his own pace. Once he feels secure, his loving personality really shines through.
Louie is also a very smart and playful boy. He loves his squishy toys and enjoys showing off his playful side once he is comfortable. He is doing wonderfully with potty training and has had no accidents in the house. He is crate trained and does well in his gated area. Like his brother, he is still working on his leash manners and can pull a little. He may also get excited when he first sees other dogs, but settles down once he has a chance to adjust.
Louie and Henry are incredibly bonded and get a lot of comfort from having each other. Louie may need a little more patience and reassurance than his brother, but underneath his cautious exterior is a huge lover who wants nothing more than to feel safe, loved, and close to his people.
Louie is looking for a patient and loving family who will give him the time he needs to build trust. In return, he will reward you with cuddles, companionship, playful moments, and a whole lot of love.
The total adoption fee for Louie and Henry is $1500.00. They are neutered and up to date on all shots and will be microchipped.
