I'm ready for my new family!

Tango is approximately 4 years old. He is a very high energy dog - full on puppy energy! Tango is super sweet but gets very obsessed with toys - especially balls- and his person.

He knows basic commands like sit, shake, down, and off. He's a pretty smart guy! He is treat motivated but most of his attention goes out the door if he has any sort of toy or ball. He will do almost anything to play if toys are in his line of sight. 

He is approximately 60-70 lbs. His energy level is a 10 and will require a VERY active household with lots of patience that will bike, hike and walk or run with him multiple times a day. 

He does bond quickly with people and becomes very protective of his person and their safety. He would be great fit for a single active person. Once bonded, he will try to sit in your lap like he is puppy again. He would probably do best as an only dog or with a dog bigger than him that would put him in his place and set a mellow example. He is okay with older kids but will guard his bonded human if he feels threatened.

He loves his crate for settling, training and sleeping at night; he is potty trained. He knows how to use a doggy door. He loves to go on walks and is great on a leash. He is significantly less intense when he has lots of deliberate daily exercise like walking or hiking. He is a very happy boy and his tail is always wagging. He does like to bounce like tigger through the house when excited and can have a hard time settling when not on a leash or in his crate.

Tango is learning to chill so he can get booty scratches and snuggles. He can't wait to find a home that will love him through his OCD about toys. He is such a loveable guy!
