Bert and Ernie are best friends and littermates with two distinct personalities. Just like their namesakes, Bert is the more serious, thoughtful one, while Ernie is playful and mischievous. This very bonded pair keep each other entertained — wrestling, chasing, and playing with their toys for hours.
Bert is an old soul — a little timid at first, but once he trusts you, he’s incredibly sweet and loyal. He can be a bit possessive of toys or bones with other dogs, but he happily lets Ernie do whatever he wants (he truly adores his brother). Like Ernie, he’s housebroken with a doggie door, crate-trained, and knows his basic commands.
Not tested with cats, farm animals, or small children.
A note from their foster: Bert and Ernie are deeply bonded and happiest when they’re together. It’s our heartfelt wish that they find a forever home as a pair — they truly are each other’s comfort and confidence. We’ve had the joy of fostering them for the past two months, and while it saddens us to let them go, we’re offering something special to help make their next chapter easier: their adoptive family will receive free dog-sitting from us for life.
We just want to know that these two amazing boys stay together and continue to bring love and laughter to the home lucky enough to have them.
