Yoshi is a polite and beautiful 3 year old standard poodle with a sweet and polite personality, a Velcro pup for sure. As she feels safe and secure, she will gain confidence, but she does have a bit of separation anxiety to work through. She is housetrained and can be left alone in the home, she is not destructive, but may bark for a bit before settling down when her humans leave her.
Yoshi is happiest keeping her human company, whether going for a short walk, retrieving her tennis ball for 10 minutes or watching tv. She responds immediately to "no". She also sits, stays, waits and comes on command. She will gladly take a treat of any protein you wish to share and does not beg for food or steal it off a low table.
Yoshi can be very selective on other dogs she meets, so slow introductions are key. She would be happiest as an only dog, to be the center of her family's attention. She would do well in an all adult home or home with older kids. Yoshi is a delightful lower energy dog who will make someone a wonderful companion.
